On this morning, eyes open wide
bare witness to light chasing night away
sun rays gently kiss the sky
illuminating every molecule they find
turning the edge of clouds to golden fire
this day is forged by the hand of God
I close eyes tight, walk by faith for sight is blind
in my Fathers embrace I am not afraid
this heart knows love and gives it freely
walk with me, let me show you His teaching
